InuYasha 4Ever Fansubs started out in 2003 with the fansubbing of InuYasha episode 124. Continuing from there, we finished InuYasha to the very end, including the final two movies. After that, we decided that we didn’t want to stop with InuYasha and continued on with other popular (and sometimes not-so-popular) series. We went through some ups and downs, and saw some good people (and not-so-good people) come and go, but a few of the staff persevered and came out on top.
The group continued their fansubbing career steadily with a nice fan base and good series, but, unfortunately, around November of 2007, everything started to fall apart. Several of the key staff members had severe stress placed on them in real life and could not keep up with the work of fansubbing. They had to leave the group to pursue their real lives, but that left a gaping hole in the group that could not be filled, mostly because there wasn’t anyone there with the skills or time that they originally possessed to pick up their work.
However, come July 2008, they finally got themselves straightened out and decided to return to their favorite hobby. Unfortunately, InuYasha 4Ever Fansubs was in dire-straits; it needed a complete overhaul. So one man stepped up… and proceeded to ninja the original group leader. He took over in a rather hostile and very bloody campaign. Many were injured. All lived.
With a new manager/coordinator and the same old staff as before, InuYasha 4Ever Fansubs returned as IY4Ever Squared Fansubs (or IY4Ever² Fansubs, if you can view the special squared character) to become reintigrated into the fansubbing society.
